Board of Directors
Clynton R. Nauman (ALEXCO RESOURCE CORP) Mr. Nauman brings over 35 years of diversified experience in the mineral industry, ranging from exploration and business development to operations and business management in the precious metals, base metals and coal sectors. Mr. Nauman is also currently the CEO of Asset Liability Management Group and has held various executive and operations positions with Nerco Minerals and Coal companies (now Rio Tinto), Kennecott and Viceroy Resource Corp. Mr. Nauman holds a BSc (Hons) in geology from Otago University, New Zealand.
William M. Sheriff, BSc (GOLDEN PREDATOR CORP.) Mr. Sheriff has over 30 years´ experience in the mineral exploration and development business and is the driving force behind the founding of Golden Predator Corp. Mr. Sheriff also serves as the Chairman of Redtail Metals Corp. and as a Director of EMC Metals Corp. and Western Lithium Corporation.
John McConnell (VICTORIA GOLD CORP.) John is a Professional Mining Engineer with extensive operating experience, something that is of huge value to Victoria Gold Corp. as they move thei projects forward. During John's career he has worked for Placer Development Limited, Cominco Ltd, Strathcona Mineral Services, Breakwater Resources, De Beers Canada Inc. and most recently was the President and CEO of Western Keltic Mines Inc. until its takeover by Sherwood Copper Corp. John is also a Director of Silver Eagle Mines Inc.
John Burges (NORTHERN FREEGOLD RESOURCES LTD.) Mr. Burges has joined us from Knight Capital Group, a New Jersey based global financial services firm that is one of the largest securities trading institutions in North America and the largest trader of junior miners. Mr. Burges was a Managing Director at Knight, responsible for their resources capital markets activities focused on North American small cap public companies. He previously worked in London and New York for thirteen years for Deutsche Bank and Merrill Lynch as a Director in their investment banking practices where he was responsible for advising and financing public corporations in the resource and power sector. He subsequently was Chairman and an Officer of Newmarket Power, a private equity backed independent power generation company, which acquired and operated approximately 450 MW of gas fired power generation in the North-East of the US. He worked in the Middle East with a private equity investment group which made investments in the energy and resource sectors. Through his more than 20 year career, he brings substantial corporate finance, investment and management experience. He has an Executive MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA (Hons) from Bristol University, England.
Robert McIntyre Rob McIntyre is a Registered Engineering Technologist who has worked in Yukon's mining industry for over 30 years. He was formerly President of the Yukon Chamber of Mines, and Chair of the Board, Yukon Chamber of Commerce. After co-founding and running Access Mining Consultants for many years out of Whitehorse, Rob worked as Vice President, Corporate Affairs & Business Development for Alexco Resource Corp, and operator of the Bellekeno silver mine at Keno Hill. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Yukon Chamber of Mines and the Yukon Minerals Advisory Board, is President & CEO, Resource Strategies Inc. and is Chair for Yukon Gold Mining Alliance. |
